We were staying in a hotel nearby with rather limited and I ricy breakfast options. What a treat it was to find the Red Cat. Delicious food and coffee for every taste. Unfortunately, they were out of grits the day we visited, so we didn't get to try their breakfast bowls, but the pastries were amazing. The croissant for the sandwich was one of the best I had ever had. Cold brew and lates, perfect.

Passed two Starbucks to get to this independently owned small business. But that was not the best part. The service was friendly and accurate and the taste of the coffee was excellent. They know how to use that big beautiful LaMarzocco for sure. Add to that the ambiance of the sitting area was welcoming and warm with decor that gave a nod to the history of the most important beverage goat ever helped many to uncover. Well done on every level.

Wonderful people, great food, nice relaxed environment, and delicious coffees and smoothies! Best place to get your morning started or a mid day boost! I had a breakfast bowl with bacon, added avocado and a Havana Brown iced coffee with oat milk and omg is it the best thing this morning! The friendly faces make this experience amazing.

A great little place downtown for breakfast and a coffee. The staff was friendly. The vibe was right. It was very clean. The food was good and came out quickly. Great stop for breakfast.

Red Cat Cafe is a cozy gem with delicious food and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The coffee was especially yummy—smooth, rich, and just what I needed. The cafe’s location near Railroad Park offers amazing views that make the experience even better. I loved the industrial decor—it added a unique and interesting vibe to the space. I would absolutely come back again for the coffee, the cozy ambiance, and the perfect park-side setting.

A little beautiful coffee place located across from the Railroad Park. Small but Cool menu with choices for all types of taste. The coffee and food were delicious.

Great location across the street from Railroad Park. Veggie Wraps, Frappes and Spanakopita is good for takeout. Had them several times. In the mornings on Sunday they have sweet and savory crepes. I like the Pepper Place building better. A very clean facility. Home made pop tarts are so good. Today I had the salted caramel latte, smoked Gouda grits and chocolate chip cookies. Coffee quality is always top. Peach muffins and Peanut Butter Banana Oat Bars are delicious and are baked from scratch.

My favorite coffee shop in all of Birmingham. The staff here make me feel welcome. The coffee is delicious and fast. Within a week of becoming a regular, everyone knew my name and my order. After getting my coffee, I often drive to work feeling such a pick-me-up, and I realize it’s not the caffeine, it’s from the love and kindness of all the staff making my morning a little brighter.
